The Mieters are a Dutch languaged Beat group from Zaandam heavily influenced by bands like Het, the Soft, the Mokum Beat Five, the Fallouts and many more who released massive 45's in the Dutch language in the 60s. You can find this stuff on the now legendary 'Biet Het' compilations.
For their 2nd LP they turned to Grey Productions, the label of our recordstore; Grey Vinyl Treasures. We agreed to do a tiny press in a beautiful art-sleeve to be designed by Rianne de Witte. Only 100 copies!
Music is quite wyld organ garage with great guitarlicks, Who-ish power and frentic lyrics that always touch the frustrations of all-day life. Sexual frustrations in 'Viezelevozen', being a loser in sports 'Sport', having a religious girlfriend 'She is gelovig' (a massive fave at Grey Headquarters), computer madness 'Lijken zonder te kijken' and many more. Also a bunch of supercool instro's.
Well as said the LP is only available through the Grey Vinyl Treasures Store and this site so get is while you can. Only a very few left!!!
